An OSS wind from Okinawa - Ryukyu Software Business Support Center has started its operation with Kokusaika JP's internationalization/localization solution
 An OSS wind from Okinawa - Ryukyu Software Business Support Center, which officially opened on September 9th, has started its operation in Uruma-shi, Okinawa. Kokusaika JP's internationalization/localization solution, "World Wide Navi" and "Sisulizer", is being utilized there. World Wide Navi, a software internationalization tool, is used to check if an OSS is already internationalized or not, which is an important phase of standard software development process to be executed at the center. The center also offers optional support for internationalization and localization development. Member companies of the center can use World Wide Navi (A Software Internationalization Tool) and Sisulizer (A Visual Software Localization Tool) to internationalize and/or localize their target OSS. Although only Okinawa-based companies can be members of the center, the companies outside Okinawa can make use of the center through Okinawa's member companies which are strong in OSS. It is expected that a lot of good OSSes will be internationalized and localized at the center and delivered to Japan market from Okinawa. ■About World Wide Navi World Wide Navi helps changing source codes from Japanese only software to different language versions such as English or Chinese. It also helps changing non-Japanese software to Japanese version. By using automatic embedded message externalization function, you can reduce the time to do the task from several weeks/months to several minutes/hours. ■About Sisulizer Sisulizer is a visual software localization tool which supports various types of software.
